Johnny’s Gold Brick | Detroit Wedding Photographer

Melissa & Jason wanted to have a fun and unique engagement session (which I always encourage and help plan). We decided on setting the scene at one of their favorite bars, Johnny’s Gold Brick!

We started inside the bar and took advantage of the unique leather seating. They were able to grab drinks that we would use for the rest of the shoot! Really you’re engagement session can be anything you want it to be! It doesn’t always have to be at a park or at sunset. We can do whatever is unique to you, which makes your session that much more fun! You could even make your own cocktails for your session if that’s what fits you and your partner best! (Here’s a recipe for a good midwest old fashioned if you wanna practice!)

After hanging out inside, we utilized the outdoor patio that Johnny’s Gold Brick has for a few more shots with their drinks! Melissa & Jason were so giggly with one another which made is so easy to grab some fun candids of the two of them!

Right outside of the bar there was a unique grey metal wall that was the perfect backdrop for a new setting! We spent more time laughing and dancing around the streets! Working with Melissa & Jason was a dream!! Thank you both for letting me be apart of this fun day!
