Stephen and Darrell had the best intimate courthouse wedding! They were so excited to get married and it resonated throughout our entire time together! Who said a courthouse wedding was a thing of the past? It is here to stay, and I am so excited to continue capturing these weddings. After saying I do at the courthouse, we made our way to 19th Street and captured some stunning portraits. (I mean look at the way they look at each other!)

After 2020, having an intimate wedding has become more of a new normal. What I had found was that it was actually working in favor for a lot of my couples who would have chose to elope but didn’t want to disappoint family by not including them. A lot of couples saved themselves the stress when it was their only option, and realizing their family would adjust to the plans.

Basically, you can absolutely have an intimate courthouse wedding or elopement with just your partner and take time later to celebrate with friends and family! This day is about you guys! Do whatever you want with your day and don’t hold back!
